Saltpond Lower-Upper Town Citizens Association (SLUTCA) is a Non-Profit, Non-Governmental, Non-Political, Saltpond Development oriented organization.
 
 
 
 
 
 
The association was formed, as in the Bible, (Nehemiah chapter 2) in November 2007 by a group of citizens of Saltpond residing in Kumasi, in Ashanti Region of Ghana. Saltpond Lower-Upper Town Citizens Association’s main aim and objective is to bring together ALL SONS AND DAUGHTERS of Saltpond-Nankesedo (Lower Town), well-wishers of Saltpond-Nankesedo (Lower Town) and all others in diaspora, with the SOLE AIM to contribute in any way possible to the HUMAN and STRUCTURAL development of Saltpond-Nankesedo (Lower Town) and its environs.

The association is seeking to partner, initiate, mobilize, facilitate, promote, enhance and participate in any possible manner to the HUMAN and STRUCTURAL development of Saltpond-Nankesedo (Lower Town) and its environs.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES
 To bring together all citizens of Saltpond/Namkesedo (Lower Town) in diaspora to develop     Saltpond/Namkesedo (Lower Town)

  To serve as an avenue or channel for all and sundry who wish to assist in the development of     Saltpond/Namkesedo (Lower Town).

  To provide a platform for every citizen of Saltpond/Namkesedo (Lower Town) in diasporas to     contribute to the development of Saltpond/Namkesedo (Lower Town).

  To provide a forum for all citizens of Saltpond/Namkesedo (Lower Town) in diaspora to express     themselves, fight and advocate for the general goodness and development of Saltpond/Namkesedo

The "GYE NYAME" SYMBOL which symbolizes the recognition and admittance of Saltpond Lower-Upper Town Citizens Association of the fact that the development of Saltpond/Namkesedo could not be achieved without the involvement and approval of God.
The WHEEL BARROW WITH CONSTRUCTION TOOLS IN IT which symbolizes the preparedness and readiness of Saltpond Lower-Upper Town Citizens Association to assist in the development of Saltpond/Namkesedo (Lower Town).
