Saltpond Lower-Upper Town Citizens Association (SLUTCA) is a Non-Profit, Non-Governmental, Non-Political, Saltpond Development oriented organization. The association was formed, as in the Bible, (Nehemiah chapter 2) in November 2007 by a group of citizens of Saltpond residing in Kumasi, in Ashanti Region of Ghana. Saltpond Lower-Upper Town Citizens Association’s main aim and objective is to bring together ALL SONS AND DAUGHTERS of Saltpond-Nankesedo (Lower Town), well-wishers of Saltpond-Nankesedo (Lower Town) and all others in diaspora, with the SOLE AIM to contribute in any way possible to the HUMAN and STRUCTURAL development of Saltpond-Nankesedo (Lower Town) and its environs.

The association is seeking to partner, initiate, mobilize, facilitate, promote, enhance and participate in any possible manner to the HUMAN and STRUCTURAL development of Saltpond-Nankesedo (Lower Town) and its environs.
